2012 NFL Draft Spotlight: Larry Parker

Height & Weight: 5'11" 170lbs
Position: Defensive Back
Hometown: San Diego, California
College: Grossmont JC & San Diego State
High School: St. Augustine

Larry Parker has the potential to develop into a solid player in the NFL. He was a turnover machine for the Aztecs defense in 2011 doing anything he could to get the ball back to the offense. Whether it was picking off passes or forcing fumbles with big hits, Parker's big play making ability played a huge role in clinching SDSU's 2nd straight bowl berth. Some may consider him undersized but he makes up for it with great ball skills and aggressive tackling. Expect him to be picked up in the late rounds of the NFL draft or sign with a team as an undrafted free agent. Whenever or wherever he lands, he should be a great asset to any team in need of youth and/or depth at the cornerback position.

Honors:
