MESA COLLEGE (10/20/2012) Under the bright lights at Merrill Douglas Stadium, the San Diego Mesa Olympians (3-4) made sure that the first homecoming game in school history was one to remember.

WR Jay Waddell catches a 33-yard TD pass from QB Joe Kennedy.
3rd Quarter
After a 38-yard TD run by Victor Valley's Anthony Lewis, Mesa DB Jordan Porto returns a blocked extra point 98 yards to the end zone for two points.
4th Quarter
After giving up a 2-yard TD run, the Mesa defense stops a game-tying two-point conversion attempt.
Mesa recovers the ensuing onside kick to seal the win.
Next Week
The Olympians will be back at Merrill Douglas Stadium this Saturday to host the San Bernardino Valley Wolverines in their last home game of the season. Kickoff is at 6:00 p.m. PT.
