Enforcers host Charlotte in Hero Bowl VII

The San Diego Enforcers (1-0) return to Balboa Stadium this Saturday, April 6th to take on the Charlotte Cobras (0-0) in the seventh annual Hero Bowl. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. PST.

The Enforcers will be looking to build on their momentum after opening the season with a 24-12 win over the Los Angeles Heat. This will be the first game of the season for the Cobras who finished their 2012 campaign with a 3-2 record.

Series History: This will be only the second time these teams have met. The first meeting took place during the 2010 season with the Enforcers pulling off a 10-0 win in Charlotte. In a game dominated by defense, the Enforcers had a 3-0 lead with 1:36 left to play. On 4th and 7 with the ball in Enforcers territory, the Cobras had one last chance to find the end zone. Instead their quarterback found Joshua Jemelka who returned his intercepted pass for the game-winning touchdown.
