USD Toreros 2013 Football Schedule

The University of San Diego Toreros will begin the 2013 season with the same non-conference opponents they faced in 2012.

After opening the season at Cal Poly, the Toreros will kickoff their home schedule against Harvard and Western New Mexico. The Toreros have not been defeated at home since 2010.

Pioneer Football League play begins with newcomers Stetson and Mercer. The Toreros will travel to Florida on September 28th to take on Stetson in their first-ever PFL game, then return to Torero Stadium the next week to host Mercer's first-ever PFL road game.

The 2013 schedule will also include home games against Marist, and fellow PFL co-champions Butler and Drake. The Toreros will be on the road when they take on Dayton, Valparaiso, and Morehead State.

For the first time in PFL history, the champion will earn an automatic bid to the FCS playoffs.

The Toreros finished the 2012 season with a share of the PFL title and a record of 8-3 (7-1 PFL) under former head coach Ron Caragher. Defensive coordinator Dale Lindsey took over in December after Caragher accepted the head coaching job at San Jose State.
