The beginning of an inner-city rivalry will take place this weekend when the San Diego Surge and San Diego Sting meet on the gridiron for the first time.
The defending WFA national champion Surge will be looking to clinch their third consecutive division title while the Sting can only hope to end a rough season on a positive note.

WFA National Championship coming to Balboa Stadium
The 2013 SilverSport WFA National Championship game will be played at the historic Balboa Stadium on August 3rd. The stadium is located on the San Diego High School campus in downtown San Diego. The game will be broadcasted live on ESPN3 and re-aired on Comcast and Root Sports.
