2013 San Diego Prep Football Season Preview: Brawley Union

Brawley Union Wildcats

Location: Brawley, CA
School Colors: Royal Blue & Gold
Division: IV
League: Imperial Valley
Rival: Central Union
Head Coach: Jon Self (Third Season)

2012 Recap: 10-2 (5-0 Imperial Valley, 1st)

After a road loss to Hoover in week two, the Wildcats rode a nine-game win streak into the Division IV semifinals where they would go on to suffer a 35-18 loss to eventual state champion Madison.

Early Outlook

The Annual Bell Game against Central will forever be Brawley's most anticipated game of the season, but this year the Wildcats can also circle their October 18th matchup with Imperial that will most likely decide the 2013 Imperial League crown. Imperial will be seeking revenge after losing to the Wildcats twice in 2012, including a season-ending 26-21 defeat in the Division IV quarterfinals.
