The North County Stars put up a great effort in their season finale, the San Diego Surge find out their playoff opponent, and the San Diego Enforcers release a video to promote next Saturday's National Championship game against the NYPD.
 
California Quake (5-2) 30, North County Stars (2-4) 14

CARLSBAD (06/14/2014) The North County Stars refused to end it's inaugural regular-season without a fight. Attempting to avenge an opening week road loss, the Stars scored the first touchdown of the game and led the California Quake 14-6 at the half. Unfortunately the Quake went on a 24-0 run in the second half to escape with the win.

San Diego Surge to host Las Vegas in WFA Playoffs
 
After enjoying a first round bye, the San Diego Surge (8-0) will host the Las Vegas Showgirlz (7-2) for the second time this season. The Showgirlz advanced to the second round of the WFA Playoffs after defeating the Everett Reign 50-0 Saturday evening. The game takes place next Saturday, June 21st at Santana High School with kickoff scheduled for 5:30 p.m. pacific time. It will be the sixth meeting between the two teams with the Surge owning a 5-0 edge in the all-time series (1-0 in the postseason).
