Surge hits milestone after routing Pacific

Pacific Warriors (5-2) 8

CARSON, CA (06/06/2015) The San Diego Surge (7-0) are still undefeated after knocking off the Pacific Warriors (5-2) for the second time this season. With the win, the Surge not only earned their fifth straight division title, but it also marked the 50th victory in franchise history.

Since making their debut during the 2011 season, the Surge have won 38 regular season games (two awarded via forfeit) and 12 in the postseason, including their win in the 2012 WFA National Championship game.

Next week the Surge will hit the road again to close out their regular season schedule. This time they'll head up to Fresno for a rematch with the Central Cal War Angels, who they defeated 56-25 in week five. The Surge will be seeking the outright Pacific West title and a very possible number one seed in the American Conference playoffs.
