Toreros' offense explodes in victory over Butler

INDIANAPOLIS, IND (10/01/2016) The University of San Diego Toreros (3-1, 2-0 PFL) put up 526 yards of total offense in their 44-10 blowout win over the Butler Bulldogs (2-3, 0-2 PFL).

Anthony Lawrence completed 23 of 33 passes for 336 yards, a touchdown, and just one interception.

One of his main targets was Brian Riley, who caught three passes for 84 yards and made a one-handed grab for a 32-yard touchdown, giving USD a 14-0 lead with 7:44 left in the first quarter.

Ross Dwelley contributed with five catches for 58 yards.

On the ground, Jonah Hodges led all rushers with 16 carries for 128 yard and two scores. His 69-yard dash to the end zone gave the Toreros a commanding 37-3 lead with 11:39 left to play.

One defense, Jamal Agnew recorded three tackles (1 for loss), two pass break-ups, and his 10th career interception (first of 2016).

Next Saturday the Toreros return home to continue PFL play against the Davidson Wildcats.
