While the San Diego Surge prepared for its first game since July of 2015, we spoke with head coach Mike Suggett, veteran Deana Guidry, and rookie right tackle Jamee Avii to get their takes on the upcoming season.
The Surge will open the season on the road this Saturday, April 1st when they take on the Los Angeles (formally Pacific) Warriors.
San Diego will begin the 2017 campaign on the road for the first two weeks, then following a bye, they begin a four-game home-stand that includes the rival Central Cal War Angels and rematch with the Warriors.
