Week 5 Game of the Week

#6 St. Augustine Saints (4-0) at #8 Helix Highlanders (1-3)
Helix leads all-time series 6-2

Helix saw its Open Division hopes all but slip away after falling to Cathedral Catholic last week, but a win in this game could be the boost the Highlanders need to potentially get them back in the hunt. In a losing effort, junior running back Eleyon Noa rushed for 221 yards and two touchdowns.

Led by first-year head coach Joe Kremer, St. Augustine is off to a hot start where they've outscored their opponents by a combined 149-10. The only points surrendered this season was during last week's 28-10 win over Loyola (Los Angeles). This will be their last non-league contest before defending their Western League title in what should be a challenging four-game slate.

Junior quarterback Angelo Peraza has put up 772 yards and 10 scores in the passing game this season, while sophomore Byron Cardwell leads the Saints with 554 all-purpose yards and six touchdowns.
