JuCo Rankings: #1 San Diego Mesa lands #7 in state rankings

Following a 31-14 win over Saddleback College, the San Diego Mesa Olympians (5-1) were voted the seventh-ranked team in the state according to both the CCCSIA and JC Athletic Bureau Coaches Poll.

Grossmont (4-2) entered the season No. 4 in the county but is now in the No. 2 spot coming off a 24-19 win over Pasadena City.

Palomar (2-4) stays at No. 3, while Southwestern (2-3) drops to the dreaded fourth spot. Both teams are looking to bounce back from tough losses.
