In November 2018, the Indoor Football League (IFL) introduced the San Diego Strike Force as one of its newest franchises. Three months later, the team is set to play its inaugural game on the road against the Quad City Steamwheelers next Friday at 5:05 p.m. pacific time.
We spoke with head coach Burt Grossman, quarterback Derrick Bernard, and former USD running back Jereke Armstrong Jr. (San Pasqual) after the team's scrimmage.
Season tickets for all seven Strike Force home games at Pechanga Arena San Diego are currently available thru the team’s official website, www.sdstrikeforce.com. Single game tickets for all seven home games are also on sale. The Strike Force’s home opener is set for Sunday, March 3 against the Tucson Sugar Skulls.
