Lincoln scrimmages Granite Hills at the SDFNL Kickoff Classic

Day 1 of the 2023 SDFNL Kickoff Classic ended with a preseason showdown between two defending state champions. At halftime, the Lincoln Hornets found themselves down 14-7 to the Granite Hills Eagles but rallied in the second half to secure a 42-14 victory. In Week 1 action, Lincoln will travel to Hawaii to face Wai'anae, while Granite Hills return home for a Saturday night matchup against 2022 Division I runner-up Mission Hills.
